Description:
Big Daddy Hosta features enormous, bold, puckered blue-green leaves that hold their color throughout the season. Tall spikes of pale lavender tubular flowers rise above the foliage from early to mid-summer, creating beautiful contrast and strong visual impact in shaded gardens.

Mass planting, general garden use, groundcover, shade and woodland gardens, foundation plantings.

Planting & Care:
Prefers partial shade to shade and average to consistently moist soil. Do not allow soil to dry out. Adaptable to most soil types and pH levels and tolerant of urban conditions. Low maintenance; clean up old foliage in early spring before new growth emerges. Medium growth rate with an expected lifespan of approximately 10 years. Dies back to the crown in winter and regrows in spring. Monitor for insects. Propagation by division where permitted.
